Bristol Airport (IATA: BRS) is located in North Somerset, 13 km south of the city centre of Bristol, more precisely in Lulsgate Bottom. This airport is conveniently situated for reaching the south-west of England, including the cities of Bristol and Bath, Cardiff, and also South Wales, Stonehenge, and the Cotswolds. Within just two hours of travel, it is also possible to comfortably reach Devon, Dorset, and Cornwall.
The medium-sized airport handles over 7.6 million passengers per year and is the ninth busiest in the United Kingdom. It consists of a single terminal that includes both arrivals and departures areas, and the building is arranged over three floors: ground floor, first floor, and mezzanine.
Bristol Airport is served by major low-cost and other airlines such as EasyJet, KLM, Ryanair, Thomas Cook, Aer Lingus, Aurigny, Blue Islands, BMI Regional, Brussels Airlines, Wizz Air, and WOW Air.
The airport runway, at 2,011 metres, is one of the shortest in the country, only 500 metres longer than London City Airport.
The airport offers a range of services for travellers, both arriving and departing. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the terminal for up to 2 hours; additional time is available for a fee.
For £5 if purchased at the airport or £3.90 if booked online, passengers can use the Fast Track (Priority Lane) service to avoid queues at security checks.
Luggage storage is also available, costing £5 for up to 4 hours and £8.50 for 24 hours. Passengers also have access to two VIP lounges with buffet, bar, newspapers, and magazines; these lounges are open to all passengers for a fee.
Bristol Airport also offers various ATMs, charging points and phone charging stations, a Moneycorp currency exchange office, and video games, as well as several bars, restaurants, and shopping areas both in the arrivals and departures zones, before and after security.
FACILITIES FOR PASSENGERS WITH REDUCED MOBILITY

SECURITY AND HAND LUGGAGE RULES

• For liquids: individual containers no larger than 100 ml. All containers must be placed in a single transparent, resealable plastic bag with a capacity not exceeding 1 litre. Each passenger is allowed only one such bag.
• Medicines and special dietary items required during the flight do not need to be placed in the plastic bag. All medicines must be screened.
• Items purchased at duty-free shops in Bristol Airport’s international departures terminal may be taken on board the aircraft.
